Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit of a letdown as they were a distance away from the main lodge and a bit dusty upon arrival, with a musty smell that dissipated after airing out. However, the staff was mostly accommodating and friendly. The location was convenient to historic Williamsburg, although it didn't feel very clean. Dining options were available for all guests, but there was an additional fee to add to the resort cost. On the bright side, the hotel offered traditional regional homemade products during meals.
The hotel felt like a charming little cottage with a strong cleaning solution odor in the bedspread and bathroom. It was not located where advertised online, but the service was friendly and attentive, especially from Cory. The location, though quiet and nice, could use some work, and the dining options were limited to breakfast only.
The hotel had a unique layout with rooms that felt less private than expected, but they were very clean and nice. The service was exceptional with free Wi-Fi offered due to a reservation mix-up. The location was convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, VA, but guests felt pressured by timeshare offers. The dining experience was extra for timeshare attendees, and the facilities were pleasant overall.
